Hiya Me again. Just checked in online for my flight on sunday, and without having to enter any details, wizzair has saved them all. with my current passport number on it, my concern now is that when i go to check in for return it will again enter the etails of the old passport and i will be royally screwed. ive looked through the website to see where those details might be saved, to no avail, tried my account but it only saved addresses, no passport details! any ideas????????
Hi ya, I need some help, i’ve flown with wizz air and not had too many problems before now, but im flying from BOJ to London luton, while im in the UK im renewing my passport, so will be returning on a different passport number. tried to ring call center uk, but wont work from bulgaria, tried bulgarin number but dont understand a word! emailed them through the claims from and got a response saying, that i will not recieve a reply, other than the automated message and to look on the website for answers, but i cant seem to find anything. can anyone help, or know what to do in this situation? next option is to wait until i get to uk and ring call center from there, but im only in uk for 9 days, by the sounds of things i’ll have trouble reaching them via phone, with a massive phone bill to go with it!
I have booked 7 flights to go to Prague in April and paid by mastercard. When we got the statement we found they hadn’t taken the money out.We rang them to ask they can’t find the booking. We have scanned and sent them the confirmation showing that it has been settled by mastercard and they still say we haven’t booked any tickets!! I don’t know where we stand on this as to rebook the tickets now with them it will be more than £100 more which I don’t see why I should pay.
My flight with Wizzair was 4 hours delayed in one direction and 6 hrs delayed in return. Am I right that since the flight is more than 1500km I am entitled to EUR 400 compensation? Or is it 50% of EUR 400?it was a nightmare!what should i do?
I would like to cancel a ticket with Wizz and tried all day to ring the numbers on their website but it does not even ring let alone someone to answer… Is there a different phone number that they have or am I just unlucky?

I had to book a connecting flight with Wizzair. During the booking process the fare shot up by £50 . I had no choice but to pay the higher fare as I has already booked the other leg. Next day the fare was down again to the original lower price. Wizzair sucks.The customer service is useless.

I need some adive…Recently my friends and I booked a flight with Wizz Air from Lond to Split for late July 2011. The flight was paid for with my debit mastercard, I had sufficient funds in my account and the card number was accepted. We received a confirmation email with the confirmation code and an invoice! However, the money never left my account - so technically we havent paid! I dont want to arrive at the airport to have them tell us that our seats have not been paid for - we need to b in split to begin a cruise that is already paid for and can not be delayed!! So Any suggestions on what to do would be great!! Do we book a diff flight and not show up to Wizz Air? I cant find an email address for them anywhere to check what is going on! very confusing and I dont think I want to fly with them after reading all the above posts about delays!!!

Exactly the same problem i am having! My reservation is from Skavsta (Sweden) to Belgrade airport, which i have made on 22nd of April. Easter holidays started exactly then (Good Friday) so i expected that WizzAir will take money from my account by now. My flight is on 29th of April and even though i have received a boarding ticket, invoice and a confirmation email, they still haven’t taken any money from my VISA card account. This is just getting stressy as that flight is in 3 days from now, and i would not like to appear at the airport just to hear them telling me that the ticket was not paid for. There is no email address to write to and the call center for Sweden is down for 4 days now. Can anyone help me with this?
Also, one more thing. When i booked the ticket, i had enough money on the account. I typed in all the numbers and got a capital red letters result saying CONFIRMED. Strange….
simply contact your bank,and then air company if needed. You won`t fly for free anyways

I’ve booked a returned flight to Warsaw but have given a wrong return date. The number to contact customer services in order to change the date is of course a premium number at 77p per minute. I am a pensioner and can’t really afford for the phone call which will probably take ages. I am desperate. I am flying to Warsaw in August but I should change the date asap. Can someone help?

I was just reading your posts as I was trying to get through to WIZZ AIR on the 75p number as I had made a spelling error on the surname. I was thinking it was going to be a nightmare, however on the 2nd attempt I got through and the lovely lady changed the error within 15 seconds and said I will recieve a new confirmation! Not a mention of a charge, what great service I must say.

If I understood well,if I replaced Mr with Mrs I have to pay £51 extra so I can use the ticket???
I understand that someone, who has access to database, needs to click few times to erase ONE letter and it might cost not more than £5, but £51 is too much!
It is complete fraud!
I made same mistake today and now I have to solve the problem because I don`t want my friend miss the flight,to whom I bought the ticket.
I am completely horrified with the fact that I have to pay same price as I paid ticket, well ticket was £50,99 and fee for changing name is £51 hahahahahahahaha sorry I have to laugh cause this is so non sense!

Sorry, but is that the email to Wizz Air’s customer support? They wont even give you a company address? Bizarre. Do you honestly believe that people should discuss credit card bookings with someone behind a non-company email address? I Wizz Air THAT stupid???
I’m trying to modify the destination city of my flight, which leaves in 4 days… but the online “Modify” section only allows me to change the date of the flight and not the city…..
So I’ve tried to call their fuc*ing phone number (at 1 euro a minute)…. but their customer representatives simply DO NOT ANSWER the fuc*ing phone! I called at least 20 times today…. and nobody ever answered!!
So I cannot change my flight online, and I cannot change it on the phone either!!

I would like to say that with Wizzair i am flying to poland 4 times a year. for the same money and with other airlines i can fly just once or maybe two times.
I like Wizzair,even if they are criticize the company for a very basic service, but you get what you pay for. If somebody want criticize just to criticize, soo he just have to fly with LOT or BA.

and there site says they might take a month to respond!). In addition, I am in the USA which they don’t even have a single phone number for. I can’t even call one of their European offices (the call fails since you have to be within the country to call them). Even if you go to the airport they only have 2 employees working 1 desk checking in baggage and they can’t help you either regarding anything else.
I have flown 220,000 miles in my life so far but will NEVER use this carrier again in order to save a couple of dollars.

Its almost £4,000 worth of money i would like to spend with WIZZ, but NOONE is responding to my emails. When i call up, they tell me to email again… and then NOONE replies.

Wizz Air - absolute rubbish. Payment system down yet again. Worse still, you have to go through the entire booking process to get to the final stage before you’re presented with this pitiful message “The service is currently un-available. Contact system adminstrator.”
Thanks Wizz, but who is my system administrator? Isn’t it you? I’m spending my valuable free time at home to book a flight on your abysmal website and you don’t even provide a notification service so we know your getting it sorted. Are you actually in business of selling flights or just wasting the time of your potential clients?

They really sucks. They have a lot of hiden fees. I bought a tichet from Bucharest to Catania with 5 months in advance. Visiting their web-site with 2 weeks before the departure I obseved they introduced the check-in online which is free of charge and if you want to make the check-in at the airport you have to pay a new fee. I have tried to avoid that fee but their shit web -site was down. I spended a lot of money calling their fucking call-center with a lot of extra fee.
If you bought it 5 months ago you will not have to pay for check-in. The new fee for check-in at the airport is applied only for recently purchased tickets. So relax buddy and enjoy your flight

I did my booking on 26.06.2010 and transaction is still showing in their system as payment needed. Funny thing that my master card secure network system from card provider did well. However CC account still no charged. I am scared what will be happening on the flight day in 3 days on airport, where everybody will have the same problems. I can not do a web checkin because it is not finding booking when it is not payed.
What do you think could be done here. I will try to call wizzair call center but people say it sucks and I do not expect any success.
Same problem. I am due to fly next week but no money has been taken from my account and it does not show up in the bookings part of the wizzair website.
At the time of the booking (a week ago), the transaction was pending - so I thought it would go through within a couple of days. I have tried the customer service line a number of times and get cut off after about 40 seconds (there is some weird message that says something like due to some sort of EU regulations I can’t wait on the phone?).
I tried the “contact us” message part on the website but no one has replied to me. I need to go abroad for a gig but I don’t want to end up paying twice for a flight.
So frustrating.
just discovered this site having gone through trying to book a ticket on Wizzair with my debit card only to have them refuse it and then find that I can’t email them to find out the crack on just buying the ticket at the airport on the day. Bet it’s more expensive. Their website hyper button to email address of customer relations SIMPLY DOESN’T WORK
At Prague airport I was refused from boarding the plane to Paris because I lost my printed e-ticket during security procedure. This is the only company that does that. Most companies want you to have only ID to check-in since they have all the data in the system. Did not even help that I showed them my e-ticket on my laptop. The ticket cost me 60EUR. Had to book another last minute ticket with Czech airlines for 100EUR. On the way back from Paris I had to fly with Wizzair again because I already had booked my ticket before I got stuck in Prague. Wizzair operates buses Paris - Beauvais but it costs another 14EUR one-way and one must take it more than 3hours prior the flight departure. If not, other bus won’t make it because Beauvais airport is almost 100km from Paris center. Taxi would cost at least 150EUR. Also, Beauvais airport provides zero services like lack of toillets, shops, restaurant, free WiFi etc. I found WizzAir cheap but low quality. Customer service didn’t reply my email inquiries. They have overpriced services like ticket cancellation or phone support. There’s no way how to avoid card fees unless paid straight via banking transfer or with some special card that most people do not have. Moreover, the card fee is being charged for every flying person not the flight/card transaction. I felt cheated when using their service. Will not fly anymore.
In the similar situation on the Belgrade airport my experience was completely different. Opened my laptop showed my boarding pass and everything was fine.
Regarding denying boarding without boarding pass, Wizzair is not the only one as I witnessed the same situation in Geneva last week end with another airline.
On December 26, my girlfriend and I had a terrible surprise when we arrived at the check-in in Milano-Bergamo. Even though we already paid the extra 30 Euro for an additional bag (booked through their web site), they told us that the total weight limit was 15 kg regardless of the number of bags checked in. Their website was totally unclear about this and at least almost a dozen of other people had similar issues. In the end we spent an additional 210 Euro!!! WE WILL NEVER FLY WITH THEM EVER AGAIN!!! BEWARE OF THIS DISHONEST AIRLINE!!!
Well under new EU regulation the max wight per checked bag is 32kg and this is clearly stated on their confirmation. They charged GBP32.- what is in line with other low cost carriers.
No point to cancel your flight as you won’t get a refund, once you’re booked you’re booked, that is called low cost airlines. You could modify the name on the ticket, the route or the date for an extra fee, this is possible online.
I just booked through Wizz Air accidently, well..my friend did it for me. I’m going to France and she booked through them even though i said AIRFRANCE. Now I’m trying to cancel my flight through Wizz Air. I’m in the Czech Republic…I called that number provided and no one spoke English. There’s no number to call from the United States so I can’t have anyone from home do it for me either.
Would it be possible, do you think, to go to the airport to cancel my flight? It was just booked TODAY and really really really wish I could cancel it easily, like you can for every other airline.

Its not their job to change the ticket.
All I say is I have sent 6 emails to sales, groups, advt and have recd no reply at all. WIZZ AIR SUCKS, especially when there are no contact numbers in Hungary.
Terrible communication
To my fellow Central Europeans: if you plan to fly Wizzair, think twice. The least you should know is that this May, they reduced the weight one can carry in a baggage from 20 to 15 kgs. It cost me 45.000 HUF (= 165 EUR) to find out at the airport that to pay extra online charge for a second baggage prior to the trip means for them only that you want to carry the *same* weight in two boxes, not one!
Who on earth would pay twice the price of bread to have cut it in two?
To add insult to injury, upon my complaint, they wrote to me basically stating that if they can cheat me, it’s my fault. Read: as long as in the small print they describe a meaningless and counterintuitive non-product but sell it as a product, whoever buys it should blame himself. Not bad at all.
